Mel,

I loved your new layout: it is frankly much better than the previous one (it is more friendly)! The header suggests two things: if it is a sunrise it suggests that complaining may bring you new results, new things into your life; if it is sunset then it may suggest that after complaining your mind can rest assure that what is written will produce a positive result and you can have some peace of mind.

The instructions are quite clear;I don't think that you could have explained it any better. However there is a typo: "2. Choose a graphic from Here or Here or use your own own" the word "own" is doubled...
Don't you think that you may be limiting people who do not know how to work (or do not own) a graphics program? I think that you should present the instruction number 3 as a suggestion, rather then giving the impression that they have to do it this way otherwise they can't submit a complaint.

All the rest is perfect! I like it a lot: congratulations :D!

I will subscribe to follow-up comments, that way we can exchange more ideas (if I don't reply today, cause it is evening already here; I will tomorrow) :)!

I am rather impressed by its new looks!

Cheers

This did not happen to me, thank god.

Max,
I have implemented your suggestions and fixed the duplicate word. By the way, this banner picture is a sunrise from my own back yard. My concept here is four fold:
1. A lot of people hold things in don't release them. This can cause issues in ones own life. I would like this to be a fun way of dealing with those demons. Complaining, if done correctly, can be very healthy.
2. Creativity and fun. an avenue for people to be creative and have fun.
3. A way for people to create and display an add for their site that is based on complaining.
4. This world has real problems and issues. This can be a way for an individual to express ones outrage. This is the reason I have given the option of creating a caption to a graphic so that one is not limited to the space withing the picture.

However, I still feel that there is something missing....I just can't put my fingers on it.

Thanks for your input.

Mel,

"By the way, this banner picture is a sunrise from my own back yard." - it is beautiful! Did you take the pic yourself? :D

"1. A lot of people hold things in don't release them. This can cause issues in ones own life. I would like this to be a fun way of dealing with those demons. Complaining, if done correctly, can be very healthy." - I agree with you, my friend. My PR professor wrote a book on how to complain and write complaint letters...it is a very good one; I learned a lot from it!

"2. Creativity and fun. an avenue for people to be creative and have fun." - this is a good invitation, Mel. We are all creative, but not all of us have the opportunity to express that creativity; and if one can do it while complainning...it is great!

"3. A way for people to create and display an add for their site that is based on complaining." - it's a good idea!

"4. This world has real problems and issues. This can be a way for an individual to express ones outrage. This is the reason I have given the option of creating a caption to a graphic so that one is not limited to the space withing the picture." - ah ok; I got you :). The world is messed up, my friend; and I think that your site is a good instrument to express our discontentment. I already knew that if I had a complaint I could always turn to you :).

"However, I still feel that there is something missing....I just can't put my fingers on it." - Mel, I went back to the site and I really didn't see anything missing; I think it is just perfect: it's simple, classy...if I were you I wouldn't add anything else for now. However it is your site, if you feel that something is missing, go ahead and add it (when you put your finger on it lol) :).

"Thanks for your input." - anytime, my friend; anytime :D!

Cheers

Max,
I think I know what is missing, and it has nothing to do with this site specifically. As you now I have my "Attitude" site which is my cornerstone, as it were. Then off to the left I have this "Complaint" site which allows for for venting. What was missing was the other side of complaining; a site that allows readers to express gratitude. I believe in the number three, a "Triad." (As you know my process is based on a triad: of PASSION, PLEASURE & REPETITION.)

Anyway I have created a mirror image, of sorts, to my complaint site. I have just bought the domain and set up the outline for it. If you get a chance take a look at AreYouGrateful.com and let me know what you think.

As always, I really value your input.

Thanks,

Mel,

A new project??? That is so wonderful! I will check it out for sure, man! :D
Gratitude...yes, indeed...that was missing! I am glad that it didn't have anything to do with the site, cause it is just perfect, Mel :)!
3 is a magical number :D! When I read your triad, you wouldn't believe what came to my mind...yes, that is right...I mean: Passion, pleasure and repetition!? LOL Seriously, it is an extraordinary process, my friend.

I will take a look at it, and I'll leave my comment...:D!

"As always, I really value your input." - thank you so much, my friend; you are a dear :)!

You are most welcome :D!

Cheers

Hazel,
I don't mean to be offensive, but if you leave a comment please be specific and sincere. You have left the exact same comment on other blogs.
